First Look - Spectre Miniatures - Miniatures

Spectre Miniatures is a skirmish game that focuses on conflicts between Special Forces, PMCs, Rebel forces and Militia all around the world. The ruleset however can be adapted to play any kind of modern force on force game. In this article we are going to look at the model range from Spectre Miniatures and the kind of environments you might find them in.

Here we have some of the Special Forces Operators with their civilian clothing, assault vests and night vision goggles, though these could easily painted up in MTP camo too. I can already picture these guys conducting hostage rescues or taking out warlords.

The Middle East/North African militia are mainly guys in civilian clothing wearing assault vests, some sporting shemaghs.

The Insurgents look sinister with their balaclavas on. I think i'm going to pick these guys up to take on my operators.

African militia are pretty much what you would expect, they even have models holding their AKs sideways and up for extra authenticity.

They also have African Government forces to keep the militia in check.

Here they have given an example of the kind of board you might play on, a small shanty town which looks great.

Spectre also do status tokens so that you can tell if units are on Overwatch, moving Tactically, a Casualty or Stunned.

There has even been a cheeky hint at some Russian FSB operators on the way on the facebook page.

Conclusion
I cant wait to see what these guys do next, what they have already is impressive and from what i have heard is coming things can only get better. I have planned to get a game of this soon so i will get a battle report up with plenty of pictures. Check these guys out over at http://www.spectreminiatures.com/
